Low tides grounds some Port Townsend ferry runs this week

Low tides and unfavorable currents are causing another round of ferry cancellations between Port Townsend and Keystone this week.

The run cancellations continue today, when the 9:30 a.m. sailing from Port Townsend and 10:15 a.m. sailing from Keystone are idled.

The same runs will be canceled on Wednesday, as will be an 11:15 a.m. departure from Port Townsend. Additional runs at 11:35 a.m. from Port Townsend and 12:05 p.m. from Keystone are scheduled

On Thursday, the 11:15 a.m. run from Port Townsend and noon departure from Keystone will be canceled.
