Wanted: Older four-door sedan, something built between the 1930s to 1950s, suitable for transformation into a police car from that era.

The Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office is seeking the donation of such a car that would be suitable for use in public events, fairs, parades and school presentations.

The Sheriff’s Office will paint, mark and equip the car to replicate a police car from that era, Sheriff Mike Brasfield said.

Anyone who either has such a vehicle or knows where one might be available is encouraged to contact the Sheriff’s Office by calling 360-385-3831 or e-mailing info@jeffersonsheriff.org.
