PORT TOWNSEND — A former chamber of commerce executive and a business educator are the finalists to be executive director of the Jefferson County Economic Development Council.
They are Michael J. Brennan, former executive director of the Bellingham/Whatcom County Chamber of Commerce, and Vic Grassman, program manager for business and outreach of the Whitewater branch of the University of Wisconsin in Delafield, Wis.
The two finalists were among 42 applicants interviewed by the EDC’s selection committee.
The final choice will be made by the executive committee in early May, said Lloyd Cahoon, EDC president.
