Forks: ATV rider seriously injured in crash into pole

BEAVER — A 28-year-old Forks man on Sunday night was listed in serious condition, the result of injuries received in a Saturday all-terrain-vehicle crash into a street sign and power pole near Lake Pleasant.

Clallam County Sheriff’s Department investigators report that the investigation into the crash would continue this week, stating: “It is believed that speed and alcohol were contributing factors.”

John Robinson sustained head and face injuries in the quad crash at 12:47 a.m. Saturday, Sheriff’s Department Sgt. Nick Turner reported. Robinson was then airlifted to Harborview Hospital in Seattle.
