Port Townsend: It must be summer — Peninsula’s sole drive-in theater opening

PORT TOWNSEND — A sign that summer is finally here: the Olympic Peninsula’s only drive-in movie theater is open for business.
Wheel-In Motor Movie opens for the season tonight with a back-to-back showing of two movies, “Daddy Day Care” and “Bruce Almighty.”
The drive-in is located on Theatre Road, a few feet south of the state Highways 19 and 20 junction.
This year marks the 50th anniversary of the drive-in’s operation.
