Chimacum: Schools superintendent-designate anxious to start

CHIMACUM — Mike Blair, the new superintendent of Chimacum schools, is anxious to get to work.

His first goal is to get to know people in the community, he said in a telephone interview from his home in Kettle Falls.

School board members voted unanimously Wednesday night to hire Blair to succeed Mary Lynne Derrington as superintendent of the 1,380-student Chimacum School District.
