Port Ludlow: Fund-raising for Beach Club remodeling under way –

PORT LUDLOW — Work is under way to raise funds to help pay for a $1.4 million remodeling of the Beach Club.

A fund-raising kick-off event supporting the Beach Club’s renovation was a “huge success,” a project organizer said Wednesday.

Phil Jaffe, “Project 2004” chairman, said 150 people attended the $25 per person cocktail party last Friday.

While not an official fund-raising event, a number of people pledged support for the renovation project, he said.
