Sequim: Urgent care options studied by doctors leaving Virginia Mason Clinic

SEQUIM — As many as three of the doctors who resigned from Virginia Mason Clinic are exploring ways to offer urgent care to patients after Virginia Mason closes its doors next month.

All seven doctors working in Sequim’s Virginia Mason Clinic resigned late last year, citing philosophical differences with the Seattle-based clinic.

Shortly after those resignations Virginia Mason announced it would close the clinic.

The resignations, and closure leaves more than 5,000 patients without physicians until they establish new practices.
