Port Angeles: Babe Ruth girls eliminated from World Series

ABBEVILLE, La. — Port Angeles ended its 16-and-under Babe Ruth fastpitch season Thursday as the fourth-best team in the country.

The locals dropped Pitt County, N.C., 4-0 Thursday afternoon before being eliminated from the World Series with a 1-0 loss to New Hamburg, Mo., Thursday evening.
