FORKS — Three semifinalists for the job of Quillayute Valley School District superintendent are not enough.

The School Board decided in executive session to take another look at all the applicants, board member Sue Gibbs said

Previously, the board had narrowed the field of a dozen to three semifinalists — Harold Shockley, superintendent of Park County School District in Powell, Wyo.; Paul A. Ganalon, Steilacoom Historical School District deputy superintendent; and Dale R. Bowen, superintendent of Wishkah Valley School District in Aberdeen.

“We haven’t eliminated the three,” Gibbs said. “We just want to make sure we’re doing the best job we can.”
