PORT ANGELES — The city Parks and Recreation Department is seeking the donation of a 30- to 35-foot-tall fir tree for the city’s holiday festivities.
The tree, which must be accessible by vehicle, is needed no later than mid-November, the city said in a press release.
It will be featured during the annual Hometown Holidays Tree Lighting ceremony Saturday, Nov. 25.
Donors will receive special recognition for their assistance, the city said.
Each year, the city receives a donated tree, which is placed at the Conrad Dyar Memorial Fountain at First and Laurel streets.
