Donation of $63,276 to Olympic Medical Center announced

PORT ANGELES — The Olympic Medical Center Foundation has announced a donation of $63,276 to Olympic Medical Center.

Foundation Executive Director Bruce Skinner told hospital commissioners about the donation at their March 15 meeting.

“We are pleased to announce that we have now donated $410,791 to Olympic Medical Center in the past year,” Skinner said.

The gift – all earmarked for equipment — includes a donation of $3,128 for the children’s clinic, $4,325 for respiratory services, $7,816 for obstetrics, $17,861 for the emergency department and $20,146 for the heart center.

The foundation also gave $10,000 for Olympic Medical Physicians, which will be used for physician recruitment.

Foundation President Jim Jones and OMC commissioners recognized the efforts of Ron Allen of the Jamestown S’Klallam Tribe, Ed Ebling of Sequim Health and Rehabilitation, and Jason Segar from Crestwood Health and Rehabilitation.

“We want to thank Ron, Ed and Jason for their tremendous support,” Jones said. “It’s people like them that help to make this gift possible.”
