The April 30 issue of the Peninsula Daily News on Page A5 carried the obligatory picture of our smiling two senators and and our representative, with the headline “House, Senate on recess until May 7.”
We, the voters and taxpayers, are footing the cost of salaries, etc., while they push politics at home.
Why do they spend more time on the re-election trail than accomplishing something?
But maybe we are safer with some more other useless or taxing bills.
We don’t need non-working stiffs.
Put them on permanent recess.
