Your article about the cat found cut in half and left at Shane Park was the most animal cruelty I’ve heard in a while (“Port Angeles Police investigate cat killing,” July 11) .
I’ve worked with critters since a teenager in zoos and many vets.
I’ve seen cruelty in puppy mills and could go on and on, but the person responsible for this act of cruelty should be severely punished.
To the owner of the cat: My heart goes out to you.
I know the sorrow from the past in my 90 years, believe me.
