LETTER: America needs to go back to basic principles

The past decade replaced laws with “political correctness.”

A nationwide stand-down was executed.

Until we reinstate laws that protect the United States and prosecute those who oppose our peace and freedom, there will be no end to the violence created at all levels.

Parents’ rights to discipline their children are protested.

Borders are not secured.

Law enforcers are held back.

The legal system allows rights to murderers, lawbreakers, terrorists, etc.

Universities are allowed to teach hatred against America.

Journalists and news media vie for stardom with personal opinions rather than stating the facts.

The U.S. military has been slowed in its ability to protect this great country.

The FBI, CIA, etc., failed in what they stand for.

A maniac has the ability to strategize a mass shooting by activating a school alarm to ensure a greater number of targets and then tosses away the vest and weapon to integrate into the crowd without being recognized.

Our current laws will provide a mental illness defense for this murderer.

The recent Florida shooter will confess as long as he doesn’t get the death penalty.

Did anyone bother to ask the high school victims what their life preference was?

The solution is simple.

America: Get back to basic principles.

Everyone is accountable for his or her actions.

Those who break the law and those who enforce the law.
