Wine and wonder offered New Year’s Eve

PORT TOWNSEND — A one-night-only show of “The Magic Chamber,” coupled with wine tasting is planned on Monday night.

The Wine Seller will offer wine for tasting at its business at 1010 Water St., from 8 p.m. to 9 p.m., followed by the magic of Joey Pipia in “The Magic Chamber” on Monday.

“Thirty seats, 60 minutes, one outrageous event,” organizers said.

Tickets are $31, available online at https://www.brownpapertickets.com/event/3917892 or at The Wine Seller. Attendees must be 21 or older.

The one-hour show will take place in the upstairs gallery at The Wine Seller, so there will be plenty of time for attendees to be wherever they need to be at midnight.

Pipia, an International Magic Competition competitor, will open the show with the trick that brought him third place in the summer’s North American Magic Finals.

His fans can expect the same amazing wonder he’s known for.

According to a news release, attendees can expect to be dazzled by this performance, honed on the road in Pipia’s successful tour of the Northwest recreating the legendary work of the great traveling magicians of the early vaudeville era.

“The magic happens literally inches away from your eyes,” Pipia said. “No fancy boxes, no smoke or mirrors. It’s the ultimate challenge; up close, fast-paced and amazing.”

For information call Pipia at 360-774-2202.
