Harvest of Hope dinner tickets on sale now

PORT ANGELES — Tickets are on sale now for the 16th annual Harvest of Hope Wine & Dinner Gala.

The dinner, which will raise money for local cancer patients being treated at Olympic Medical Cancer Center in Sequim, will be at the Guy Cole Event Center in Sequim on Oct. 13. Cocktails will be available beginning at 5:30 p.m. and dinner will be served at 6:15 p.m.

The ticket price is $135.

The Olympic Medical Center Foundation aims to raise $100,000 at the event to purchase the new equipment that will be needed once the cancer center is expanded beginning in 2019, said Executive Director Bruce Skinner.

The foundation already has raised more than $1 million toward that expansion.

The evening will feature chef Kathryn Kitts from The Sweet Beginning Café in Sequim.

Award-winning wines from Harbinger Winery in Port Angeles will be served.

Attendees will have an opportunity to help raise funds through the purchase of raffle tickets or live and silent auction items.

Live auction items include a safari for two to South Africa, a trip to Napa Valley, a variety of “instant” wine cellars, a Fanch Ledan painting and a photo by Gary Hamburgh, brew lessons and dinner at the Barhop Brewery in Port Angeles and a trip to Cabo San Lucas.

To buy tickets and for more information, see www.omhf.org or call the OMC Foundation at 360-417-7144.
