CLALLAM BAY — The Clallam Bay Library will host an all-ages Gingerbread Dwelling Contest next week.

Entries of edible homes, huts, castles and cabins can be brought to the library at 16990 state Highway 112 beginning Monday for a chance to win a prize.

Entries will be accepted at the library until 4 p.m. Friday, Dec. 15.

Final judging will be Saturday, Dec. 15, with prizes awarded soon after.

Prizes will be awarded in three age divisions: 6 and younger, 7 to 12, and 13 and older.

Submissions can be created from a kit or entirely from scratch, but all entries must be entirely edible, and all creations the artists’ own.
