4-H Club to raffle quilt, other items at Jefferson County Fair

PORT TOWNSEND — Tickets will be available at the Jefferson County Fair for Paws-N-Claws 4-H Club’s annual fundraiser raffle.

First prize is a quilt made and donated by local quilter Florence Zarro.

There are more than 20 other prizes, including items for those who love cats, dogs, horses, cooking, gardening, reading and having fun.

Tickets are $1 each and can be purchased from Paws-N-Claws members or in the Cat Building during the Jefferson County Fair.

Funds raised will go toward Paws-N-Claws’ club expenses for the upcoming 2017-18 4-H year and will help club members with cat-related expenses, such as vet bills, show expenses and attending the state 4-H Fair in September.

For information about Paws-N-Claws 4-H Club, contact leader Laurie Hampton at catwoman@olympus.net.

For information about all other aspects of the Jefferson County 4-H Program, contact 4-H coordinator Tanya Barnett at tanya.barnett@wsu.edu or 360-379-5610, ext. 208.
