SEQUIM — Sequim’s volleyball team won three games in a row after dropping the first one to hold back Class 1A power Vashon Island in nonleague action Friday night.

The Wolves lost the first game 15-25 but came charging back by scores of 25-17, 25-17, 25-13.

“Vashon was a pretty good team for a 1A school,” Sequim coach Jennie Webber-Heilman said.

“We played pretty good defense.”

Haleigh Harrison ruled the net with 18 kills. She also had 12 digs and served three aces.

“The 18 kills in four games was a personal best for Haleigh,” Webber-Heilman said.
