SPORTS: Port Angeles beats W.F. West by 10 points in boys basketball action

CHEHALIS — The Port Angeles boys basketball team opened the season with a solid 54-44 victory over W.F. West on Wednesday night.

Easton Napiontek led the Roughriders with 18 points.

Ten teams from around the state and 30 Port Angeles High School alumni competed last week at the Rumble on the Ridge adult basketball tournament. Winning the tournament was the 7 Cedars Casino team, which beat the Dream Team 65-57 in the championship game.
