Randy Johnson is closer to securing a place on the Nov. 8 general election ballot in the Port Angeles-area District 2 Clallam County commission race after 6,000 additional ballots in Tuesday’s primary election were counted Friday.
Line-up for November ballot in the ClallamCounty commission race is Ron Richards and Randy Johnson after second of ballots, but 2,954 ballots are left to count.

Democrat Kate Dean won 61.57 percent of the votes and fellow Democrat Tim Thomas won 20.13 percent in the first count of primary ballots.
