Yacht club makes hospice donation

The Sequim Bay Yacht Club recently donated $25,864 to Volunteer Hospice of Clallam County. The donation represents the total funds raised by the club during its 2023 Reach and Row for Hospice races and other events. The club’s 2024 fundraising started Jan. 1 with pledges for the four members joining other VHOCC supporters at the Polar Bear Dip and it continues with the sales of T-shirts and raffle tickets. It brings the club’s donations to Volunteer Hospice to more than $510,000 since 1991. For more information, visit www.sequimbayyacht.club.
