Wreck briefly blocks Highway 101 east of Blyn

BLYN — One lane of U.S. Highway 101 was blocked for a half hour Tuesday after a two-vehicle, minor-injury wreck east of Blyn, the State Patrol said.

The driver of a green Subaru Impreza was turning left from Old Blyn Highway onto U.S. Highway 101 and failed to yield, said Trooper Chelsea Hodgson, State Patrol spokeswoman.

The green Subaru was struck by a white Subaru Impreza that was traveling westbound on U.S. Highway 101, Hodgson said.

U.S. Highway 101 was partially blocked from 8:49 a.m. to 9:19 a.m., according to the state Department of Transportation.

The driver of the white Subaru was evaluated for minor injuries at the scene. The driver of the green Subaru was uninjured, Hodgson said.

The State Patrol and Clallam County Fire District No. 3 responded.
