Wind through Jefferson County knocks down trees on 101

A tree was blown across U.S. Highway 101 and held up by a power line near milepost 302 on Wednesday in Jefferson County.

Separately, a tree blocked traffic on Discovery Road at Rainier Street in Port Townsend.

Rain is in the forecast for the weekend, and a flood watch is in effect across the North Olympic Peninsula until 10 a.m. Sunday.
