PORT ANGELES — Angelo Spandrio of AMS Audio Enterprises Inc. and the Solopreneur Hotline will speak to the Peninsula College Business Club on Wednesday.
The talk will be held at 12:35 p.m. in Room M-233 on the Peninsula College campus, 1235 E. Lauridsen Blvd.
It is free and open to the public as well as Peninsula College students.
Spandrio will present “Building a Successful Business” based on his 35-plus years of experience as an entrepreneur who created a profitable home-based business from scratch.
“I learned everything the hard way when it came to running the day-to-day operations of the business,” Spandrio said.
“I made many mistakes, and although these mistakes cost me time and money, my business has become fairly successful. Being a ‘solopreneur’ has provided a comfortable life for me and my family. I have truly loved the freedom, independence and pride that the business has given me.”
Spandrio will reveal his journey through the start-up maze, touching on passion, structure, licenses and permits, employees vs. independent contractors, taxes, the business highway and much more.
