The Port of Port Townsend and the Jefferson County Department of Emergency Management will test the All Hazards Alert Broadcast warning system at Port Townsend Boat Haven on Thursday.
The test, which will be in conjunction with a statewide earthquake drill, will take place between 9:45 a.m. and 10:15 a.m.
Voice and siren systems will be tested over the high-decibel warning system, which was installed in October 2003. It is first of its type in Puget Sound.
