Sequim: Two candidate file for School Board position

SEQUIM — Two candidates have filed to run for the Sequim School Board position vacated by Mic Sager.

Sharon Tate, of 262 Heuhslein Road, and Suzi W. Schmidt, of 80 South Solmar Drive, are seeking the position.

Neither candidate could be reached for comment Thursday.

The special three-day filing period for the position continues through today (Friday).

Any registered voter within the district — which includes Agnew, Blue Mountain, Carlsborg, Greywolf, Macleay and Monterra precincts and the portion of the East Fairview precinct within the Sequim School District — can file for the position.
