Sequim: School Board race added to Nov. 6 election ballot

The race for the Sequim School Board position vacated by Mic Sager will be on the Nov. 6 general election ballot.

“The general election ballot has not been printed yet,”‘ Clallam County Elections Coordinator Patty Rosand said.

A special three-day filing period opens today for Sager’s two-year unexpired District 5 term. Any registered voter within the district — which includes the Agnew, Blue Mountain, Carlsborg, Greywolf, Macleay, Monterra and the portion of East Fairview within the Sequim School District precincts — can file for the position.

Candidates can file in the Election Center of the Clallam County courthouse, 223 E. Fourth St., Port Angeles, from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
