Sequim looks to Tacoma artist for new city logo

SEQUIM — The city is working with a Tacoma artist designer to draw up a new city logo and is seeking community comments tha will help craft the logo.

“We want the logo to be a true reflection of the city, and we feel we will benefit from a wide range of input,” said Barbara Hanna, city communications and marketing manager.

Working with Rusty George Creative of Tacoma, the city seeks comments about Sequim’s personality, key features and assets.

Hanna asks that interested residents and business owners go online to fill out a city survey at http://surveymonkey.com/s/cityofsequim.

Survey deadline is Feb. 25.

Those without Internet access can fill out the survey at the Sequim Library, 630 N. Sequim Ave. in Sequim.

The library is open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday, and noon to 8 p.m. Tuesday and Thursday. The library is closed Sundays.
