SEQUIM — Voters in the Sequim School District will be asked for the second time this year to approve a replacement maintenance and operations levy, but this time for a smaller amount.
School Board members voted unanimously Monday night to seek a two-year, $5.16 million levy in an all-mail election with a May 18 ballot return deadline.
That amount is a reduction from the two-year, $5.44 million measure that received about 57 percent of voter support in an all-mail election that ended Feb. 4.
