QUILCENE — Firefighters are crediting teen-agers attending a dance at the Quilcene Community Center with helping to save the new teen center and Sea J’s Cafe from burning down.
Da Shack teen center could reopen as soon as volunteers clean up smoke damage.
The cafe is expected to remain closed until owner Florence Jevne can repair fire damage in the kitchen.
The cafe had been open since May and the teen center had only been open two months.
