PORT TOWNSEND — Ron and Bob Orme of Portland, Ore., visited Port Townsend this week.
That’s not unusual — a lot of people visit the “City of Dreams.”
But the 61-year-old twin brothers have a unique connection to the town because they were one of three sets of twins born here within two weeks.
The hospital where they were born April 13, 1940 has been supplanted by Jefferson General Hospital and the house they lived in their first three years is gone. But the Ormes and their wives still enjoyed exploring Port Townsend’s history, architecture and shops as they familiarized themselves with their own personal history.
