PORT ANGELES — School district officials have narrowed their search for a new superintendent to two finalists — Bill Myhr and Gary Cohn.
“We were excited and impressed with the applicants interviewed,” School Board Chairman Charlie McClain said Wednesday. “The two individuals who became finalists were the cream of the crop.”
Initially, there were 25 applicants for the job. That list was narrowed to 12, then to six, and to two on Monday.
Myhr, 46, is currently the Elma School District superintendent in Grays Harbor County.
Cohn, 46, is the vice president of Lake Washington Technical College in Kirkland.
