PORT ANGELES — Choice Community School officials may get a little more time in preparing a defense against a proposed move to the Port Angeles High School campus.
The move is recommended in every school closure option on the table for the Port Angeles School District.
Choice Principal Cindy Crumb has said that moving the campus to the high school isn’t the best option for the students.
If Superintendent Gary Cohn has his way, the decision about the move won’t be made until after Nov. 27.
The move is slated as the second phase of all six options, giving the School Board an opportunity to separate it from a proposed closures at the elementary and middle school levels.
The first phase of all the options call for a grade realignment at the elementary and middle school levels in the 2007-08 school year, and condensing the middle schools to one campus.
