Officials from the Olympic Coast National Marine Sanctuary will share research findings with the public during a Thursday open house in Port Angeles.
The event will be held on City Pier at the foot of Lincoln Street from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. Researchers will present findings from their 10-day sanctuary study.
The public can tour tents on the pier containing displays, posters and videos of the sanctuary exploration. Researchers will also be available for questions.
Admission to the Arthur D. Feiro Marine Life Center will be free and the 175-foot research vessel McArthur will be docked at the pier.
The event is part of the “Sanctuary Quest: West Coast Expedition 2002.”‘
