Pirates as well as tall ships

CONCURRENT WITH THE mid-June visit of the tall ships Lady Washington, Privateer Lynx and Bill of Rights, the Port Angeles-based Washington Association of Historical Living Arts will stage a two-day festival “The Pirates of Port Angeles.”‘

The June 17-19 event, complete with swashbuckling pirates and other activities, will be held at Port Angeles City Pier, at the foot of Lincoln Street.

In addition to pirates attempting to pillage the town, visitors will have the opportunity to find the 8.5 carat Black Diamond in a staged treasure hunt.
