Fort Worden State Park in Port Townsend will host the Boy Scouts” Spring Camporee today and Saturday.
Fifteen troops — 175 scouts — from Clallam and Jefferson counties are expected to participate.
The camporee starts tonight at the lower park campground north of McCurdy Pavilion.
Beginning at 9 a.m. Saturday, 27 patrols will compete in 10 survival skills competitions including fire building, orienteering, first aid, lashing and rescue.
Scouts spent the last two Saturdays at the park and contributed 400 hours of service work to offset camping costs.
Camporee awards will presented Saturday night.
