Food, electronics and other goods will not be the only things in short supply as the lockout continues.
Anchorages large enough for container ships are filling up in Elliott Bay, Yukon Bay and Commencement Bay.
That may mean more large vessels anchoring in Port Townsend Bay and Port Angeles Harbor.
According to a U.S. Coast Guard supervisor in the Vessel Safety Center in Seattle, there are anchorages for five large ships for 10 days in Port Angeles Harbor and six vessels for 30 days in Port Townsend Bay.
But those anchorages are also used by other large ships, such as tankers.
