PORT ANGELES — The North Olympic Library System has announced two new online book discussion groups.
The Words Matter group, for fifth- through ninth-graders, will read and discuss “Harbor Me” by Jacqueline Woodson, “The Epic Fail of Arturo Zamora” by Pablo Cartaya and “I Am Still Alive” by Kate Alice Marshall.
Discussions are at 4 p.m. on the second Tuesday of each month beginning Feb. 9.
The Teens Read group, for ninth- through 12th-graders, will read and discuss “All American Boys” by Jason Reynolds, “With the Fire on High” by Elizabeth Acevedo, and “Children of Blood and Bone” by Tomi Adeyemi.
Discussions are at 4 p.m. on the fourth Tuesday of each month beginning Feb. 23.
Booksets will be available for pickup at all library branches beginning Jan. 5; registration at nols.org is required for each group.
