PORT HADLOCK — Naval Magazine Indian Island has a training exercise scheduled for today.
Training activities will include boats on the water near the pier’s security barrier and the use of blank ammunition, loud sirens and bright blue flashing lights, the Navy announced in a press release late Tuesday.
Residents living in the communities surrounding Indian Island and installation personnel could notice noise and increased activity.
Announcements will be broadcasted from the base’s loudspeaker notification system.
