PORT ANGELES — The Washington Industrial Technology Education Association recognized Tim Winn, a teacher at Roosevelt Middle School, as Teacher of the Year at the association’s annual spring conference held in Wenatchee on March 17.
“Each year the WITEA recognizes teachers and programs in our state that exemplify the spirit of technology education,” said Mike Criner, Washington’s affiliate representative to the International Technology Education Association.
“This recognition awards teachers who produce models of excellence in technology teaching.”
The International Technology Education Association sets the standards worldwide for outstanding technology education teachers and programs.
“The ITEA has also recognized Tim for his efforts,” Criner said.
