SEQUIM — Clallam County Master Gardeners Bill Wrobel and Jeanette Stehr-Green will lead a walk through the Woodcock Demonstration Garden at 10 a.m. Saturday.

During the tour at the Master Gardener garden at 2711 Woodcock Road in Sequim, the two will talk about what is happening in Clallam County vegetable, flower and ornamental gardens and provide advice to local gardeners.

Visitors will hear about what needs to be done in the garden in September and how to do selected tasks, as well see what problems are likely to crop up at this time of year.

The session is part of the “Walk and Talk in the Garden” series, held the second Saturday of each month at 10 a.m. at the demonstration garden.

Wrobel has been a Master Gardener since 1984; Stehr-Green joined the group in 2003.

Together, they have more than 50 years of gardening experience in their own gardens.

The Master Gardener Foundation of Clallam County provides horticultural education and addresses environmental priorities such as water conservation, the protection of water quality and the reduction of the impact of invasive species.

For more information, phone WSU Master Gardeners of Clallam County at 360-565-2679.
