The lone Republican candidate for the 3rd District Jefferson County commissioner position has collected more money than the combined totals of two Democrats trying to advance to the general election from the Sept. 16 primary.
Republican Pat Rodgers of Brinnon has collected $9,860, according to documents on file Friday with the state Public Disclosure Commission.
Brinnon Democrat Mark B. Rose has raised $3,474.99, according to records, while his opponent, Bob “Cougar” Garten, has $731.07.
