SEQUIM – Get out there and dance, or just tap your toes!
TapWater will play “American jam rock” – part country and jazz, part blues and bluegrass – at the free outdoor Music in the Park concert in Sequim tonight.
The San Diego-based band will perform from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the James Center bandstand in the Water Reuse Demonstration Park, just north of Carrie Blake Park, 202 N. Blake Ave.
Bring a lawn chair or blanket to sit on – plus a picnic basket, or grab some food at a downtown store or restaurant and bring it to the concert.
Music in the Park is every Tuesday night through Sept. 11.
The concert series is sponsored by the city of Sequim; Peninsula Daily News and its weekly newspaper, Sequim This Week; and other businesses.
This is an all-ages, family event – and concert goers are invited to get up and dance.
Free movies will follow the Sequim concerts next Tuesday (“Happy Feet”) and Aug. 28 (“Fly Away Home”).
