Free concerts across Peninsula this week

SEQUIM – OlyJazz will perform at the free outdoor Music in the Park concert in Sequim tonight.

The swing and jazz band will play from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the James Center bandstand in the Water Reuse Demonstration Park, just north of Carrie Blake Park, 202 N. Blake Ave.

Music in the Park, every Tuesday night through Sept. 11, is sponsored by the city of Sequim; Peninsula Daily News and its weekly newspaper, Sequim This Week; and other businesses.

Other free, all-ages, family outdoor concerts this week:

  • Port Angeles Concert on the Pier, City Pier, from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Wednesday – Sequimarimba (marimba rhythms).

  • Port Townsend Concert on the Dock, in the downtown Quincy Street dock area off Water Street. 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday – The Delta Rays (Cajun rock).

    Peninsula Daily News is a co-sponsor of the Port Angeles and Port Townsend concerts.
