The Quillayute Valley School Board has approved the school district’s participation in the North Olympic Peninsula Skills Center.
The approval came Tuesday night after supporting comments by skills center Director Nancy LaChapelle, Cape Flattery School District Superintendent Gene Laes, and Quillayute Valley School District Superintendent Frank Walter.
Quillayute Valley was the last of the five participating districts to sign the agreement.
Other school districts participating in the skills center include Crescent, Cape Flattery, Port Angeles, and Sequim. Peninsula College is also a partner in the project.
LaChapelle returned to Port Angeles after the meeting with the signed agreement.
