FORKS — The family of a woman killed in a one-vehicle crash Friday described her as a loving mother and grandmother.
Nellie Anna (Wright) Bolduc, 60, of Forks was remembered Monday by daughter-in-law Heidi Oberfranc as someone always ready for a visit from her children and grandchildren.
“She loved her grandchildren and was a wonderful baby-sitter when any of us wanted to go out,” Oberfranc said. “She was also a great cook and we used to go over on Sundays — she could make a gourmet meal out of just about anything.”
Nellie is survived by children Antoinette Blair, 40, Michele Armer, 39, and Patrick Oberfranc, 37. She also had seven grandchildren.
Other family members were not available for comment Monday, but Oberfranc said she spoke to all of Nellie’s children — they recalled their mother as loving and kind.
“Michele said her mother was very craft-oriented,” Oberfranc said. “She loved to garden and quilt. She made dolls and was a really good seamstress.
“She loved her grandchildren and enjoyed spoiling them rotten,” Oberfranc said. “They used to love to go to grandmas house to spend the night. They just adored her.”
