A joint public safety facility discussion, certificates of appreciation for longtime Clallam County employees and planning for continuity of operations will be before Peninsula boards and commissions next week.

The Board of Clallam County Commissioners and the Port Angles City Council will discuss the joint public safety facility during a special meeting at 5 p.m. Tuesday.

Clallam County Commissioners

The three Clallam County commissioners will award certificates of appreciation to county employees Annette Warren for 30 years of service, Cathy Lear for 25 years of service, Janine Reed for 26 years of service, Lori Kennedy for 24 years of service and Karen Wahlsten for 15 years of service during their weekly business meeting Tuesday.

The commissioners’ work session, at 9 a.m. Monday, will preview items set for action at their formal meeting, which will start at 10 a.m. Tuesday.
