The commissioners will hear an update on COVID-19 from Dr. Allison Berry at 9:45 a.m.; conduct a public hearing on the closeout of 2021-2022 public service grants to Olympic Community Action Programs; interview and potentially select new members for the noxious weed control board; meet the new executive director of the Port Townsend Marine Science Center; hear the annual report from the Jefferson County Marine Resources Committee; and hear a briefing on funding to counties related to the ruling in State v. Blake.
Items on the consent agenda include a notice of a public hearing on an ordinance to appoint the director of community development as the fire marshal scheduled for 10:30 a.m. Monday, April 11; the adoption of revised precinct boundaries; temporary elimination of county employee contributions to health insurance; an amendment to the agreement with Interwest Construction for an additional $2,608 for pedestrian/bike improvements on state Highway 116; an agreement with Aspect Consulting for $16,500 for a water rights impairment analysis relating to the Port Hadlock wastewater system; an agreement with Habitat for Humanity of East Jefferson County for $500,000 for an affordable housing project; and an agreement with CivicPlus for $6,220 to implement a mobile application for the county website.

The Washington State Association of Counties will hear a weekly update on COVID-19 when they meet at noon Monday.
Both Clallam and Jefferson counties will participate.

Port Townsend city
The city of Port Townsend City Council will host an open house on streateries from 4:30 p.m. to 6 p.m. Tuesday. The in-person meeting will be in the Cotton Building, 607 Water St.
